BLS Provider Certification Class (AHA)

This comprehensive BLS (Basic Life Support) course is specifically designed for individuals working in the healthcare field. It is highly recommended for professionals such as nurses, traveling nurses, nursing students, dentists, pre-med students, pharmacists, and EMTs.

This course covers a wide range of essential skills, including adult, child, and infant CPR. Participants will learn the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), techniques for relieving foreign body airway obstruction (choking), and rescue breathing. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of delivering high-quality CPR, effective communication during resuscitation, and team dynamics. Early defibrillation and continuous, high-quality chest compressions are also highlighted in BLS Provider training.

To ensure competence, the BLS Provider course includes both a skills assessment and a written examination. Successful completion of both components is required to receive certification, which remains valid for a period of two years.
